Our school is situated in our own attractive, older-style building, in one of the nicest parts of central Christchurch. The tram goes right past our front door, and the Arts Centre, Art Gallery, and Cathedral Square are all just a few minutes’ walk away. The atmosphere is very friendly, and people soon feel at home. At the same time, we ask everyone to study quite hard! You can join our General English classes on any Monday and study for as many weeks as you wish. If you are planning to study long-term, there are a number of other challenging and interesting courses you can take: TOEIC, Cambridge First Certificate, IELTS etc. Here at SES, we believe that it is also important to experience life outside the classroom, so we offer a wide range of activities after-school and at the weekend. You can also attend an interesting lecture once a week, and once a month, we offer Adventure Weekend: 2 days of outdoor activities at a special lodge in the mountains. We look forward to welcoming you to Christchurch soon, and we are sure that you will enjoy meeting students from many different countries, while you are studying English at Southern English Schools!
