当校は２００２年に開校された学校です。ロケーションは市の中心部より少し離れたところになり、静かで落ち着いた場所に位置しています。現在、学生は１０名と少なく、日本人のみ在籍しておりますが、英語を初めて学ぶ方は安心して勉強に励むことができるアットホームな雰囲気が魅力です。クライストチャーチ校の校長のJaneさんは日本に留学されたことがありますので、日本人の考え方・日本の文化を理解しております。自らの留学経験を踏まえ、日本からの留学生にも良い経験・快適な生活をしてもらいたいと強く願っております。また、学校内にチャイルドケアセンター（保育園）がオープンしたので、親子留学をスタートいたしました。お子様と同じ校舎内で勉強できますので、安心して英語学習に励むことが可能です。

Hi, Thank you so much for thinking about studying at the Elim English Academy, we would be honored to teach you English and give you a wonderful New Zealand experience.The Elim English Academy is friendly with a community that will care for you. We are a part of a large organization that has over thirty staff and hundreds of volunteers.We run free public services in our 400 hundred-seated auditorium, that serves up to 700 to 900 people every week, we have an in-house band and teaching for young and old on the weekends. We have a pre- school for parents who want to study English and have there children cared for on site, in our New Cafe you find a place to relax in after school, also a pro-forming Art Center for Acting and Dance classes, these are a new addition for 2006 for the student who want more.
